Dragonfly Day Spa & Wellness Center is owned and operated by Angela Rosenthal. Angela has been an esthetician for over 11 years. She has been employed in many places, including The Spa at The Chateau Whistler. A professional perfectionist, “helping” is her passion. In 2006 she added RHN, holistic nutritionist, to her repertoire. And more recently, she has become a certified reiki practitioner. After seeing too many skin irritations linked to chemical laden products and poor overall health, Dragonfly Day Spa & Wellness Center was born. Incorporating holistic nutritional consulting with low-chemical, powerful treatments and all-natural, certified organic, vegan skin care; she has created a place of comfort with a sense of overall well being. This center has been designed to benefit anyone who wants to take care of themselves and get the results they are looking for, without subjecting their bodies to harsh chemicals. Whether you have sensitivities or health issues, are pregnant or an animal lover, or you just want a fantastic, effective treatment - this center was intended for you. Hope to see you soon.

Sterilization at the Center ...

To maintain both your comfort and safety, sanitization is of the utmost importance here. All re-useable implements are sterilized with a medical grade, low VOC liquid and an autoclave. Any tools that can not be properly cleaned, such as nail files and buffers, are kept in your personal file for your next visit. Please take comfort in the fact that your health is our main priority. 

Chemicals at the Center ...

At Dragonfly Day Spa & Wellness Center we do our very best to avoid toxic chemicals at all costs. There are many ingredients being used in the beauty industry that are not so beautiful. The non-organic products we use here, such as our nail polish and the gel used in our nail treatments, were chosen as they are the lowest chemical, professional varieties on the market. We have done our research to help keep you safe. However, if you are uncomfortable with any chemicals at all being used during your visit, please let us know when you book your appointment. We will make every effort to schedule your booking away from others which might use ingredients you may find offensive. From the all-natural products on the shelves and the low-VOC paint on the walls, to the handmade soy candles burning brightly and the healing touch of our care providers - we want the very best for your family.
